Bath time

For someone who loves baths I have possibly the most boring bath routine. I work weird hours and a lot of the time bath time means get clean and get out. Rather than relax have me time.

No matter what I’ll always be sat on my phone in the bath. Often I write my blog posts whilst in the bath. And I always bring my IPad to listen to music I just cannot sit in silence. If I’m having a relaxing bath sometimes even Netflix. I’ve learnt to take advantage of these luxuries whenever possible.

I hate sitting around in a face mask, I think I’ve mentioned it in a previous post. So I usually apply one before I get in the bath, I’m currently trying out the Nip + Fab Bee Sting Fix Lifting Mask. I’ve fell head over heals in love with their products and they’re currently on offer in Boots if you’re interested. If I’m not trying out a new face mask I’ll be using a trusty Lush face mask.

Boring as it is I shave and this is what I use. I have a love hate relationship with these blades, I just hate hate hate using them when you open a new one.

I never ever in my life have been fussy about body washes/shower gel’s I’ve always used whatever. But about a year ago I picked up a Body Shop one and I’ve been stuck on them ever since. Every now and then I’ll pick up one from else where in the hope it will replace the more expensive Body Shop ones but I’m too fond of them and I’m always drawn back to them. They are amazing though!
Hair wise you guys all know I use the Head & Shoulders Scalp Relief shampoo I won’t wash my hair without this. Although I’m not a fan of the smell it really does help! On top of that I will use another shampoo and then a conditioner recently I’ve been using the Garneir Ultimate Blends shampoo and conditioner but I tend to change it up a lot. The majority of the time I’m drawn to shampoo and conditioners with coconut scents but I have tried a few apple scented shampoos that’s left my hair smelling gorgeous. I like switching up the scents every now and then so I notice the smells.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again there is absolutely no point in using a bath bomb daily. I see this as a luxury for a relaxation day. It gets pricey when you use bath bombs regularly and a lot of them leave colour around the edge of the bath leave petals or glitter residue that then has to be washed away.
For example:I just don’t have time to be doing this daily. I keep to the basics, maybe I’m just super boring.

Once I get out of the bath the one thing that is compulsory moisture! I’m always using the Body Shop products but there’s so many different products you could choose! I love how strong the scents are of these and I can really feel the moisture in my skin.

Newbies

I feel like I have repeatedly said how bored I am with everything I use. I keep buying new bits here and there like I keep saying in the hope I’ll find something I really like.

When driving or doing plans at work I tend to bite my lips and recently I’ve been doing a lot of driving and a lot of plans. My lips have literally been in pieces. I was recommend this by a friend and it’s worked wonders so far. Cannot believe I hadn’t tried it sooner definitely worth the money.
Yes tampons. I needed some and thought why not try different ones? If I’m being honest I only picked them up because of the funky little pattern on them. Yet to try but I’m sure they’ll be good.

This is such a random purchase but I saw ‘radiance balm’ and just thought omg I need that. My skin has been looking so dull and lifeless, this is probably due to lack of sleep, over working and a poor diet. And I know until I sort all that out my skin’s never going to look naturally radiant. But if I can find products that somewhat help my skin to look more radiant than I’m all for it.
I’ve just applied this for the first time and my skin looks quite bright and glowy. So far so good, can’t wait to try it underneath my make up.

I picked up this also from the Botanics range. And I purposely went looking for one because honestly I’m surprised I haven’t been charged 5p for the bags under my eyes. I get roughly 2-3 hours sleep at a time due to work and often have to sleep through the day. I regularly look like a cast member for the Walking Dead. So I’ll try anything if I believe it might help, and I like that this one’s tinted too so when I’m in a rush to get to work I can just throw this on.

Is it just me that’s never seen an eye roll on with three ball bits? Supposedly to massage the eye area and stimulate blood circulation. Sounds good.

Nip + Fab is my new favourite brand. I’ve been trying to pick up bits when I can and come across this face mask. I’ve only used this once and my skin already feels a lot firmer. I know I don’t need to be using a lifting mask but I was intrigued by the ‘bee sting’.

I feel like this is quite effective and really would recommend, however like it says on the packaging don’t use if you have any allergies to bee stings if unsure do a patch test, as this does have bee venom in it which supposedly helps to plump and firm.

Lastly I picked up a plumping serum, I wanted to try a serum as I haven’t used one in forever. This doesn’t feel like your usual serum or not one that I’ve tried before anyway. When I saw this has hyaluronic acid in it I knew I had to get it, I’ve previously tried facial products with this in and it does amazing things to my skin.

Again I’d try a small amount before using on your face properly because I know some people react badly to certain things and some people have more sensitive skin.

Feel like I’ve picked up some really good products this time round and all for low prices. The Nip + Fab range will definitely be appearing more on my blog although it’s a little more pricier than my normal skin care products I feel it’s definitely worth the money. I’ve seen results with all their products even after one use, you definitely get what you pay for.

Haulin’

Before I start apologies for the lack of posts things have been mega crazy recently.

First is a Seventeen eyeshadow brush. I brought this like 2 months ago and completely forgot about it in the bottom of my bag. Yet to try it, and I’m not expecting amazing things just saw it and picked it. I believe it was £2.99 from Boots (I could be wrong). I could be pleasantly surprised by it, I’ll keep you guys updated.

Almost a repurchase I keep buying the Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo and conditioner’s, but I was yet to try this one so I picked it up. It smells gorgeous, can’t wait to use these on my hair.

A monthly purchase I won’t say much about it as I’ve got posts on it already. I. It this monthly I can’t wash my hair without it, really helps.

If you follow my blog you may have seen a post on sample testing and this was one of them. I went out and brought the full size product as I loved it so much. Although the weather hasn’t been amazing I thought I’d prepare for my holiday coming up!

More repurchases I ran out of both of these and these are my go to daily products. Again won’t say much as I’ve posted before. However, I did buy the Infallible Total Cover Foundation in 09 Light Sand rather than 10 Porcelain in the hope it will be lighter and match my skin tone better. I shall let you guys know how I get on with this shade.

This product has changed my skin literally overnight and I’m already in love. This is around £15 which made me a little more reluctant to purchase, but it’s so worth the money!

A tub of pads to use on your face before you jump into bed. So easy to use and feels like it’s really doing something! Let me know if you want a full post on this!

Boring! I know. I needed deodorant and picked this one up. Shocked myself as I only ever use Dove deodorants but so far I don’t mind this one at all.

A present from the parents for looking after the house whilst they were on holiday but I wanted to show you guys! I love the quirkiness of Moschino and just look at this!

Is this not one of the coolest perfume bottles you’ve ever seen?! And to top it off it smells great!
